Her journey with house music started in Dublin several years ago. Able to improvise on a variety of tracks, Aneta has made a huge impact on the Irish house music scene. In collaboration with like-minded international DJs, percussionists, violinists and other instrumentalists, Aneta Moran brought a new kind of clubbing experience to Ireland. A need for quality house music in Dublin led Aneta Moran to form The Trinity House Faction together with DJ Hudson Passos and percussionist Dave Decadence. Their weekend shows at the Morgan Bar took on legendary status around Dublin’s nightclub scene. Every weekend a capacity crowd of clued up dancers witnessed Aneta & Co take the party to the next level, performing her jazz-influenced funky soulful sax improvisations to a soundtrack of the coolest house music.
Other well-known Irish venues Aneta Moran played at in Ireland include The Wright Venue, Lost Society, Guinness Storehouse and The Grand Social, The Library Limerick, The Pavilion Cork, and Electric Garden Galway, to name but a few. Festivals include The Electric Picnic and Body and Soul. She has also performed at corporate events, private parties and weddings in UK, Germany and Bahrain, as well as the club scene on Ibiza - the home of live house music.
As well as performing live, Aneta Moran is a session musician who has recorded and released tracks notably with Grooveboy and The Control Freakz. She is the sax player on the upcoming re-release of Maniac by Simon Fitzpatrick and she composes her own music. Classically trained at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich Aneta’s musical experience is not limited to working with DJs; she has also played with different bands, jazz duos and saxophone quartets. In Munich, she also gave saxophone lessons at a number of private music schools.
